Marian Rivera was grateful for the high TV ratings of GMA Network’s newest comedy show titled Jose and Maria’s Bonggang Villa, wishing the show to be extended.

On May 24, Rivera revealed how happy they were during their taping for the show.
“To be honest, [walang kaba], kasi ginagawa namin siya sa set nang masaya kami at always looking forward kami sa taping, especially sa set ang saya-saya. For sure, nagre-reflect ‘yan on TV, kung gaano kami kasaya sa set,” she said.
Rivera wished that TV viewers could continue supporting the show for it to be extended.
“Parang kami, siguro kung mag-rate ‘yon, bonus na lang. Kasi, ang importante ay magkasama kami ni Dong magtrabaho after 10 years, ‘tapos ang pangarap pa naming sitcom. So, bonus, bonus na lang talaga ang ratings.
“Of course, very grateful kami na minahal siya ng mga tao pilot [episode] pa lang. Then, doon sa second episode, maganda pa rin. So, sana tuluy-tuloy kami para mag-extend kami nang mag-extend for them,” Rivera stated.
Jose and Maria’s Bonggang Villa’s pilot episode had a remarkable 13.5 percent people rating, based on AGB Nielsen National Urban TV Measurement (NUTAM) people data.
On May 24, Rivera extended her contract as Beautederm Home ambassadress with Beautederm Chief Executive Officer Rhea Tan.
