Social media star and former Pinoy Big Brother Kumunity Season 10 celebrity housemate Daisy “Madam Inutz” Lopez, on Wednesday, May 4, doubted that she could portray herself in the upcoming Mother’s Day special of Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK).
Her life story will be featured in a two-part episode of the Kapamilya longest-running drama anthology series.
In the virtual media conference of the show, she shared that she was first offered to partake in the episodes personally. However, as a comedian herself, dramatic characters were not her “strongest suit.”
Lopez knew that her life story was full of drama, which led her to believe that she would not be able to act properly.
Moreso, the comedian, was not confident in her acting skills. She then decided it was better to have someone who is an actress.
Dawn Chang will be playing Madam Inutz in MMK.
Lopez is part of the sitcom My Papa Pi as the gossip monger Madam Bebe. Still, it was a struggle for her to do her role.
“Sa My Papa Pi nga lang medyo nahirapan ako ‘di ba? Yun pa comedy pa tapos comedian pa ako,” said the comedian. “Eh itong MMK talagang buhay ko na ‘to eh. Kumbaga talagang mahihirapan ako. Kasi mahirap umiyak. So parang hindi ko kaya.”
Chang then “thanked” Lopez for refusing the role.
“Maraming salamat! Tanggi ka lang ng tanggi ha? Charot!” she jest.
