ABS-CBN reporter Ina Reformina was allegedly offered a position at the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO), according to an article of Politiko published on Thursday, May 19.
Reformina has to choose between an Undersecretary position at PCOO and as the general manager of state-run People’s Television Network (PTV), which Katherine De Castro once held.
As a reporter from ABS-CBN, various issues got thrown at her.
During the May 2022 elections, she was assigned to cover the presumptive president Ferdinand Marcos Jr campaign.
Due to this, Reformina received some schooling from former but much younger ABS-CBN reporter Kevin Manalo.
Manalo questioned Reformina’s lack of initiative to do beyond just ‘reporting’. He stressed that she needed to challenge Marcos’ claims, as she had already been handed the power to do so.
In 2019, many netizens called out Reformina on her flat earth views. She made noise online when she tweeted a verse from the Book of Enoch, tagging Flat Earth Philippines member @RyaanFEP.
