Singer Janno Gibbs argued online with a basher who attacked VP Leni Robredo and fellow Kakampinks.
The Instagram user @dekkieboy7 tracked back to the 2016 elections when Robredo won the Vice Presidential race against now President-elect Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
“TELL THAT TO THE PINKLAWANG T@€ LAST 2016, WHEN LENING LUTANG WON BY THE SKIN OF HER TEETH… HOW HER TROLLS SAID, “MOVE ON, HUWAG NANG BITTER AT TANGGAPIN NA LANG NA TALO NA”… NOW BBM WON NOT JUST BY THE SKIN OF HIS TEETH, BUT WINNING BY LANDSLIDE, EVEN IF YOU MULTIPLY THE VOTES OF LENING LUTANG BY 2, STILL SHE LOSES… NOW YOU ARE TELLING US TO “LET US GRIEVE”, NO FU¢|<||\|¶ WAY…LET US CELEBRATE U|_0|_,” the basher wrote.
Gibbs addressed this via an Instagram post and captioned, “I was done posting political views… but you keep coming back for more.”

The singer said that his post where he said he could not move on with the election results was way back on May 9.
He then retaliated against the basher, who urged Kakampinks to move on and pointed out that Marcos Jr. requested recounts several times because he could not accept the result.
“Remember when I posted this on May 9? It’s now May 25 and I’ve since moved on. Have you? FYI: Your candidate begged for a recount 3X. Ours did not, this time. Skin of her teeth or landslide, a Win is a Win, a Loss is a Loss. We have no petition or rallies for recount. You’ve finally won! but Here you are still Bitchin’. So who the Fuck is bitter?” Janno replied.
“Also Tae and Lutang are malicious, unjustified adjectives. Magnanakaw on the other hand is backed by legal data. I was impressed by your english! But you ended w/ Ulol! I guess that’s how far your vocabulary goes,” the singer added.
The basher was not rattled by Gibbs’ retaliation and even replied to the post saying:
“WELL IT’S ONLY NOW THAT I SAW THIS POST, SO SORRY FOR THE LATE COMMENT..? GOOD FOR YOU YOU’VE ALREADY MOVED ON, BUT WHY SHOULD I MOVE ON, MY CANDIDATE WON…CONSIDERING HOW CLOSE THE NUMBERS WERE BACK THEN, WHAT IS WRONG IF BBM ASKED FOR A RECOUNT LAST 2016..? BUT IF LENING LUTANG WOULD ASK FOR A RECOUNT NOW, THAT WOULD MAKE HER A LAUGHINGSTOCK WHICH I BELIEVE SHE IS ALREADY ACCUSTOMED TO ANYWAY… AS I SAID SHE STILL LOSES THE ELECTION EVEN IF YOU MULTIPLY HER VOTES BY 2… AGAIN I JUST SAW THIS POST TODAY, AND NO BITTERNESS ON MY PART BECAUSE WE WON… I COULDN’T AGREE MORE, “MAGNANAKAW” IS INDEED BACKED BY LEGAL DATA… BUT WHO DID THE STEALING, WAS IT THE SENIOR OR THE JUNIOR..? Gibbs then replied, “You are correct, it was the senior. But who benefits from the billions now? Ok so what is Ulol in english?”
The basher then stated a quote from the bible to disaffirm Gibbs’ claim, “WELL AS IT IS WRITTEN IN THE BIBLE, THE CHILDREN SHALL NOT BE PUT TO DEATH FOR THE SIN OF THEIR FATHER…”
After his online altercation with the troll, Gibbs sent his message to the newly-elected President and Vice President, Marcos Jr., and Sara Duterte.
“Wishing the Newly Elected President and VP all the best. We may have fought on different sides but, in the end, we all fought for the same thing; a better future for the country we love. I acknowledge and respect the voice of the majority. God bless the Philippines,” he wrote.

Gibbs is a proud supporter of Robredo’s Presidential bid. He also performed during the campaign rallies of the Leni-Kiko that’s why he was deeply disappointed when they failed to win the election.
Marcos Jr., and Sara Duterte were officially proclaimed as the Philippines’ next President and Vice President, respectively, on May 25 during a joint congress session.
