The two Kapamilya artists got spotted attending a football match and shopping with friends on Wednesday, May 18.
Netizens and fans got thrilled online after Alone/Together and Kapamilya star Liza Soberano shared an Instagram story about her recent trip to the United States.
The actress, alongside fellow ABS-CBN talent, James Reid, is seen being welcomed by friends in Los Angeles.
Though not clear yet whether Reid and Soberano’s reunion is linked to an upcoming project, the two already worked together back in March. Reid tapped Soberano as one of his guest stars for his star-studded Legends Only music video with other named artists, including Soberano’s beau Enrique Gil and Reid’s former flame Nadine Lustre also took part.

Soberano reposted a photo shared by a certain Marisa Pizarro that showed her and Reid, who got welcomed by a group of friends. In another photo, the actress got spotted while shopping with friends. A third photo showed Soberano and Reid posing for a photo with American producer Chris Appari a.k.a. DJ Flict, after seeing a football match at the Los Angeles Football Club Experience Center

Reid flew back to the United States in February this year and celebrated there his 29th birthday. Speculations about him bidding on Philippine showbiz have since been brewing, but the actor never confirmed if that truly is the case. Reid released two singles (Soda and Hello) last year. His last television project is notably the first season of ABS-CBN’s Idol Philippines, which is set to return for its sophomore season this year. No words yet as to whether Reid will resume his judging duties on the show.
Soberano, meanwhile, is expected to have her long-awaited comeback to the local entertainment scene, along with reel-to-real partner, Enrique Gil.
A television series and a movie are said to be underway for the Kapamilya A-List love team Soberano and Gil were last seen in an acting project together, via the canceled primetime series, Make It With You.
