Ejercito captioned: “#NeverForget”
“I recognize that making any such call was a lapse in judgment. I am sorry,” Arroyo said.
“Hindi ko matatanggap ang iyong sorry,” Roces stated.
“I want to close this chapter and move on with the business of governing,” Arroyo shared.
“The gravest thing that you have done is you have stolen the presidency. Not once. But twice,” Roces strongly said.
As of writing, Ejercito’s initial post has already surpassed 51 000 likes and more than 1 000 retweets. The video he posted has more than 69 000 views.
Fernando Poe Jr., the husband of Roces, was Arroyo’s rival for the presidential seat in the 2004 national elections. The Hello Garci scandal was derived from the leaked audio recording of a phone conversation with Arroyo and COMELEC official Virgilio Garcilliano.
