On May 3, Kapamilya actor Jake Cuenca described his mom’s support as his secret weapon amid all the controversies he’s facing.
During the media conference for Viral: Scandal’s Finale, Cuenca attributed his mother’s support to his healthy way of handling controversies.
“Generally, I stay honest with myself.
“For me, with all these controversies–I think one secret weapon I’ve always had, no matter what, no matter anong sinasabi ng tao sa akin, no matter how twisted they get the stories sometimes, one person that’s always by my side is my mom.”
He attested to how his mom stood by him amid the scandals he faced while expressing his love for his mother.
“So kulang-kulang pa. Everything that I’ve done in my life–it’s not enough for me to show how much I love my mom. Kasi, one person who’s always there for me no matter what happens, no matter what heartbreak, no matter what incident, what scandal, whatever viral issue that’s out there, one person who’s always by my side is my mom.”
He then added a piece of advice highlighting the importance of having a support system to run to when things get rough.
“When it comes to these issues, I think the most important thing is that you run to the people who know you the best. The people who will you know give you advice, unbiased advice how to handle things and for me, that’s my mom.”
As for their series, Viral: Scandal, starring Charlie Dizon, Joshua Garcia, and Jameson Blake, nears its finale with two weeks left into the series.
