Love You Stranger was supposed to premiere on GTV during the first quarter of 2021; however, GMA Network decided to defer its airing due to the spike of COVID-19 cases in the country.
After the postponement of their series, Garcia and Ramos starred in the mini-series Stories From The Heart: Love On-Air, which ran for three weeks.
After moving to GMA Network, Love You Stranger marks the first full-length project Ramos.
According to the trailer, Love You Stranger, features the story of LJ (Gabbi), a production designer, who was tapped by Ben (Khalil), a director who wishes to produce a movie about the mythical creature Lilom.
LJ was hesitant to accept the offer because her mother, played by Andrea Del Rosario, was victimized by the said creature. Later on, LJ decided to do the project.
Ben did the project for his long-lost childhood sweetheart, who happens to be LJ. Eventually, they created a special connection with each other without knowing about their relationship in the past.
Love You Stranger is directed by King Baco and stars Carmi Martin, Lexi Gonzales, Gil Cuerva, Tonton Gutierrez, and Kim de Leon.
