Several celebrities and online personalities took to twitter to share their sentiments over the latest Pulse Asia survey results.
On Monday, May 2, Pulse Asia released its latest presidential preference survey covering April 16-21.
In the survey, presidential frontrunner Ferdinand Marcos Jr. retained his big lead with his number barely moving from the March Pulse Asia result.
Marcos Jr. registered 56% followed by Vice President Leni Robredo who also got almost the same percentage from the previous survey at 23%.
In the third spot is Sen. Manny Pacquiao with 7%, followed by Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso with 4%, and Sen. Ping Lacson in fifth with 2%.
Former IATF adviser Dr. Tony Leachon was one of those who shared his sentiments on twitter over the latest Pulse Asia result.
In his tweet, he said, “Well, whether there will be a big miraculous switch to Leni in the next few days or it’s game over except for the shouting, we will find out in the next couple of days. Just praying everything will turn out for the country we are leaving behind to our children & their children.”

Journalist Anthony Esguerra also reacted saying the real battle will be on May 9. He also quipped, “Ang totoong laban ay sa May 9. Paramihan ng mag-show up. Kaya sa May 9, bawal ang absent! Don’t be like…”

Kapamilya star Jake Ejercito, meanwhile, said he believes in the survey but only to a certain extent.
He also asked fellow Kakampinks not to lose heart but to fight till the end.
“I believe in surveys, but only to a certain extent. Time isn’t on our side, but don’t lose heart. Ang magpapanalo nito ay ang mga resibo, kung ano ang totoo, at higit sa lahat, tayo. And that’s enough reason to still be hopeful Kaya lumaban hanggang dulo”

Actor-host and content creator Chuckie Dreyfus, on the other hand, discredited the latest survey result as mind-conditioning.
Like Ejercito, he also advised all Kakampinks not to be disheartened because the real battle is on May 9. He said these surveys ought to make people feel there’s already no hope.
He then asked every Kakampinks to reject the mind-conditioning and go out and cast their votes.
Mind conditioning.

Renowned Filipino geologist Mahar Magmay also disputed the Pulse Asia result; he said he knew a reliable survey that put Marcos Jr. and VP Leni in a statistically tied race.
“Basta sa pagkakaalam ko ay statistically tied na si BBM at si Leni according to reliable surveys.”
He also shared a video of a Kakampink event at the UP Town Center, saying it was the first time he saw such election activities. He asked if it was due to the so-called “Leni effect.”
Basta sa pagkakaalam ko ay statistically tied na si BBM at si Leni according to reliable surveys. 🙀
