It might seem far-fetched, but seasoned actor-comedian Michael V, on Monday, May 16, said that it is possible that he might no longer be part of Bubble Gang.
During the virtual media conference of the show, he explained that there are a number of reasons why he will no longer appear in the show, including Bitoy feeling “burned out.”
“Yung sinasabi kong p’wede ako pati mawala, maraming dahilan kung bakit puwedeng mangyari iyon. Unang-una, halimbawa yung burnout. Iyan siguro ang pinaka number one na p’wedeng maging dahilan,” he said.
Another reason is if he decides to seek a public office or if he gets sick.
“Pangalawa, eh kung tumakbo akong presidente, posibleng tumigil din ako ng pagte-taping. Kung tatakbo. Pero isa pa sa mga dahilan…Marami kasi eh. Puwedeng sickness.”
He understands that sooner or later, the time will come that he will be replaced in the show. In the ever-changing showbiz industry, with talents being discovered on a daily basis, Bitoy accepts that he will no longer be Bubble Gang‘s “leader.”
“Yung preparation ng pagkuha ng mga talents, palagi naman iyong nasa agenda ng show eh. Siyempre kung sino ang magagaling, kung sino ang mainit, iyon ang ita-tap mo talaga to be part of the show.
“Kasi lahat ng mga iyan ay may potential talaga to be a leader in the future. Not just of the show, kundi pati nang bansang Pilipinas, de joke lang.
“Maging lider ng comedy hindi para lang sa network na ‘to, sa show na ito, kundi sa buong industriya.”
The gag show still has Chariz Solomon, Betong Sumaya, Sef Cadayona, Valeen Montenegro, Archie Alemania, Analyn Barro, Faye Lorenzo, Kokoy de Santos, and Paolo Contis. Tuesday Vargas, Faith Da Silva, Dasuri Choi, and Kim de Leon were then added.
However, starting May 27, Mikoy Morales, Denise Barbacena, Liezel Lopez, Arra San Agustin, Lovely Abella, Ashley Rivera, Diego Llorico, Myka Flores, including pioneer Antonio Aquitania will no longer appear in Bubble Gang.
