Kapuso star Beauty Gonzalez on Monday, May 30, revealed that she felt at ease knowing that Becky Aguila is now managing her.
In the virtual media conference of her upcoming teleserye The Fake Life, the 31-year-old actress said, “Okay naman. I’m very happy with Mama Becky Aguila. Noong una ko palang siyang nakausap, I feel na magkasundo talaga kami. I feel safe and ang dali lang, mabilis lang lahat.”
Arnold Vegafria first handled Gonzalez for eight years. She recently switched to Aguila Artist Management on May 16.
As with her previous management, the actress ensured that all negotiations were done respectfully.
Meanwhile, she calls her new manager “Mama Becky” because she feels the “mom presence.” Moreover, the actress followed her gut with her decision to join Aguilar’s talent agency.
“I always follow my feelings eh. Ganoon ako mag-decide eh. Sa lahat ng nangyayari sa buhay ko, even before pa na may mga pangyayari,” she explained.
The actress added, “Happy ako. I’m very happy with Mama Becky and parang wala namang adjustments. Parang tuluy-tuloy ang work.”
Gonzalez also felt that she gets to have more projects under her new manager.
“Actually, parang sa kanya nagkaroon ako ng movie and nagkaroon ako ng mga bagong bosses, so I’m very happy.”
She is to star alongside Ariel Rivera and Sid Lucero in The Fake Life. Adolf Felix Jr directs it.
The series also includes Tetchie Agbayani, Regina Reyes, Jenny Miller, Bryan Benedict, Carlos Dala, Faye Lorenzo, Saviour Ramos, Shanelle Agustin, and Will Ashley.
The Fake Life will be coming soon on GMA Network’s Afternoon Prime.
