Comedian K Brosas, a supporter of the outgoing Vice President and defeated presidential bet Leni Robredo on Wednesday, May 11, retaliated to the mockery of several supporters of presumptive president Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
In a series of tweets, Brosas was astounded as the meaning of the word “respect” disappeared after the result of the national elections came.
She recalled how it was hard for other Filipinos to be convinced that there was a candidate whose achievements and competence speak for herself. But kakampinks like her respected their fellow voters’ decision in choosing another Marcos.
Haaay! God bless the Philippines!”

The comedian also lamented how people were overjoyed that a network, a source of livelihood for 11,000 Filipinos, closed down amid the Covid-19 pandemic. She was deeply offended that downfalls fuel others’ happiness.
Anong klaseng pag-uugali yan? Shutanginamez!” she wrote.

In the recently held May elections, Marcos Jr continues to enjoy a comfortable lead against Robredo. Over 31 million have voted for the former compared to the latter’s 14 million.
The outgoing Vice President’s running-mate, Sen. Kiko Pangilinan, also faces defeat from Marcos Jr’s vice-presidential candidate Sara Duterte-Carpio.
Meanwhile, other supporters of the defeated VP have staged a nationwide protest based on the assumption that there were anomalies during the election.
Robredo stressed that she would continue “fighting” despite her loss.
Maraming matang namulat; maraming diwang nagising,” she told her supporters in the Naga Metropolitan Cathedral.
