Ayanna Misola, Janelle Tee talk about their girl-to-girl love scenes in ‘Putahe’

Ayanna Misola and Janelle Tee talked about their girl-to-girl love scenes in Putahe at the media conference for the Vivamax movie on April 25.

Misola said she preferred working on girl-to-girl scenes compared to movies she had worked on before.

Tee noted that it was her first time portraying a bisexual character on screen, adding that she felt comfortable working with Misola because they’re friends.

“Naging masunurin naman ako. Bilang this is my first, first time kong gumanap ng bisexual at ‘yun nga may girl to girl kami na eksena ni Ayanna. So I think maganda na magkakilala at magkaibigan kami ni Ayanna kasi nga andoon ‘yung pagiging komportable namin sa isa’t isa na parang kaya namin mag-usap of course with the guidance of Direk Roman, kung papaano namin mapapaganda ‘yung mga eksena.”

Misola then stated that her role in Putahe helped her understand LGBT people better.

Tee highlighted their movie’s theme about gender not being the deciding factor on who people can love.

Putahe is under the direction of Roman Perez Jr. and stars Ayanna Misola, Janelle Tee, Ronnie Lazaro and Mon Confiado.

The cast includes Viva artists Massimo Scofield, Chad Solano, Nathan Cajucom, and Hershie de Leon. Putahe streams worldwide at Vivamax on May 13.
