The actress is a solid Kakampink— a term used for the supporters of VP Leni Robredo and Kiko Pangilinan.
On May 11, Angel Locsin shared an appreciation post for her husband, Neil Arce.

Fellow Kakampinks flocked Angel Locsin’s Instagram post asking about her feelings on the partial results.
“Umiyak ka rin ba katulad namin?” one netizen inquired.
The actress then responded by saying that she got sad about the results, but she’s still proud of her choice.
“Malungkot but taas noo [smiling face moji]. Ituloy natin ang nabuong malasakit sa bayan at sa kapwa [smiling face with waving hands emoji] proud to have fought alongside you [hearts emojis],” she said.
She also comforted a netizen who was also disappointed with the results.
“Naiintindihan ko. Pero kailangan bumangon kundi mapupunta lang ang lahat ng mga sacrifices and efforts natin sa wala di ba? Pag ready ka na,” said Angel.
The partial and unofficial election results showed Marcos Jr had over 31 million votes, while Robredo garnered over 14 million votes.
