On May 26, VMG Asia, the manager of Alyssa Valdez, released their official statement amidst rumors circulating that the volleyball star broke up with her long-time boyfriend, Kiefer Ravena.
VMG Asia confirmed that Alyssa and Kiefer have broken up but clarified that no third party was involved.
“A lot of speculation has been made. We appreciate the concern, but this decision does not involve any other party.”

The management then appealed to stop spreading false information and respect Alyssa’s decision.
“Let us avoid making up stories and spreading false rumors. We hope that everyone can respect Alyssa’s decision to keep things private.”
They then thanked the supporters of Alyssa for being there for her throughout her career and wished that they continued to support the volleyball star.
VMG Asia then said that it would be the last time they would talk regarding the matter and that they would not accept any other interviews or questions about Valdez’s failed relationship with Ravena.
Valdez shared this statement on her Twitter and reiterated to stop spreading false rumors.

Sports reporter Dyan Castillejo also sent her prayers for Valdez and Ravena, both sports stars.

Alyssa and Kiefer are alumni of Ateneo. In 2015, During their last year as players in the said school, they were linked to each other after Ravena confirmed that he had ended his relationship with Mika Reyes.
In June 2016, Alyssa and Kiefer confirmed that they are in a relationship in a Tonight with Boy Abunda guesting.
