In an Instagram post on Tuesday, May 24, Ai Ai Delas Alas said she believes that Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr. is molded to be a president.
After watching how US and Asian diplomats paid a courtesy call on president-elect Marcos Jr. on Monday, May 23, Delas Alas said she is just proud of him.
“Nanonood ako ng news nag-usap kaming mag-asawa na nakahulma talagang maging presidente eh… manamit, magsalita at nakakatuwa nag-courtesy call na sa kaniya mga matataas sa lipunan ng iba’t ibang bansa… proud of you MR. PRESIDENT,” Delas Alas wrote.
She also thanked Rodrigo Duterte for his contributions to the country during his presidential term.
“Marami din pong salamat PPRD sa lahat ng nagawa ninyo sa bansang Pilipinas na maipagpapatuloy naman ng ating PBBM,” she added.

In a joint session of the Philippine Congress on Wednesday, May 25, Marcos got confirmed to become the country’s next president. He will take over on June 30 for Duterte until 2028.
Delas Alas has been vocal about her support for UniTeam. She was among the celebrities who performed in the campaign sorties of the said electoral alliance.
