Ever wondered why young and the young-at-heart, are so into this series, and after just a year since the official launch of its lead stars Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano aka DonBelle, the series has already gone inordinately popular? If you have not hopped on the ‘TagSen’ bandwagon yet, maybe these five reasons will convince you to give it a try.
The series appeals to everybody. While the series is primarily populated by a Gen Z cast, it’s hard to deny that this heartwarming teenage drama owns a universal appeal. That may be largely due to its themes—family, relationships, dreams, among many others—which every viewing demographic can easily relate to.
For a local production, He’s Into Her is on another level of beauty and brilliance. Story, cinematography, and even character-wise. He’s Into Her all checks the boxes. It has a beautiful and compelling script, and it moves at a very satisfying pace, which leaves the audience with intense excitement for what is next to come. Visuals for the series are also top-notch, which may be one of the reasons, why it made it to Netflix and ruled the local trending chart for weeks.
It has that lighthearted and breezy K-Drama charm. The makers of the series, and its writer, Maxine Lat, herself, admitted that much of this series is inspired by Korean dramas. Its story, tone, and even music have that magical Korean feel, which means you may have to ready a roll of tissue while watching it.

Its second season has just begun airing. Not to put extra pressure, but you really need to binge the entire first season. That is if you want to catch up with the second season and experience the roller coaster ride of emotions that most of the fans are currently in. That said, it is certainly up to you whether you want to savor the ‘kilig’ and warmth of the first season for a bit longer before you deal with the maelstrom of romance and heartache of the second season.
