Xian Lim admitted he is nervous with his first drama series titled False Positive to be televised on the GMA Network.
On Monday, April 18, Lim revealed he was pressured to work on the project.
“I’m so grateful sa network, sa GMA, sa buong Kapuso family. I don’t want to let them down and I remember, gumigising talaga ako nang maaga para lang magtanong.
“I don’t want to cause any delays na okay, baka mali yung gawin ko. Baka hindi magustuhan ni Direk [Irene Villamor].
Lim shared he was working hard and doing his best for him not to disappoint the director.
“There is that pressure definitely, pero tinanggap kong mahirap at gagawin ko ang best ko hanggang sa ma-good take ni Direk,”
Led by Lim and Glaiza de Castro, False Positive will air on the Kapuso Network starting May 2, 2022.
Lim’s supposed first project with the network was Love. Die. Repeat. The said series was postponed due to Jennylyn Mercado’s pregnancy.
Via a Facebook post, Mercado shared that the project will not be canceled but will just be put on hold until 2022, when she finishes her maternity leave.
Mercado and Lim have already started taping for the show in September 2021.
GMA Network has plans on releasing Love. Die. Repeat on TV in the first quarter of 2022, but huge adjustments will be made following Mercado’s pregnancy announcement.
