The highly-anticipated comeback series of the phenomenal love team will stream on Netflix, 72 hours in advance before its television airing.
The KathNiel comeback is real! ABS-CBN’s premiere and the Philippine television and cinema’s phenomenal love team, Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla aka KathNiel, is set to enthrall Filipino viewers once more, as their highly-anticipated comeback primetime TV series, finally debuts on May 16.
Principal photography of the series started in October, last year. A week earlier, RGE Unit, the ABS-CBN production sub unit handling the series, revealed that the series will also stream on the streaming mammoth, Netflix. On the release of the series’ full trailer today, April 18, it was confirmed that Netflix will house advanced episodes of the series, which means fans and Netflix lovers can stream an episode, 72 hours in advance, or three days of its free TV broadcast.
2 Good 2 Be True is slated to air on multiple platforms, including TV5 and A2Z on free TV, Kapamilya Channel and jeepney Channel on pay TV, and Kapamilya Online Live, iWantTFC, and Netflix, online. The series is notably the first Filipino series to stream advanced episodes on Netflix.
The series marks KathNiel’s reunion project with the blockbuster director, Mae Cruz-Alviar, who directed both Crazy Beautiful You (2015) and Can’t Help Falling in Love (2017).

Bernardo’s character Allie got introduced. She believes that “honesty is the best policy.” She is a workaholic breadwinner nurse who witnessed a theft at a five-star hotel. Eloy is Daniel Padilla, a swindler with a heart. He has been working his ass off to make sure his father clears his name and eventually gets out of prison.
Allie’s pursuit of knowing the truth about the theft she witnessed, and Eloy’s efforts to find out the real story about his father’s imprisonment, seem to lead them both to find each other’s arms.
Part of 2 Good 2 Be True’s stellar ensemble cast include Gellie de Bellen, Cris Villanueva, Romnick Sarmenta, Jay Manalo, Ronaldo Valdez, Kristel Fulgar, Gloria Diaz, Irma Adlawan, Smokey Manaloto, Bianca de Vera, Pamu Pamurada, Matt Evans, Jennie Miller, Alyssa Mulach, Yves Flores, and Gillian Vicencio.
