News program 24 Oras and TV series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano are the flagbearers of GMA Network and ABS-CBN, respectively.
24 Oras is consistent in the #1 spot of the AGB Nielsen rating chart while FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano secured the #3 spot.
The GMA Network primetime newscast has been reigning the free TV for a long time now.
On March 28, 24, Oras earned a 15.6% rating, establishing a 1.9% lead against the #2 program, First Lady.
The following day, it dropped its rating by 0.1% but widened its gap against First Lady to 2.3%.
On March 30, 24, Oras dropped to a 15.0% rating while First Lady scored a 12.8%, establishing a 2.2% gap.
On March 31, 24 Oras, it recovered its rating to 15.4%, but its lead against First Lady was 2.2%.
But as the week ended, 24 Oras plummeted to a 14.5% rating which is low compared to its usual 16%+ rating. With that, First Lady came closer with a 1.4% gap.
Despite limited audience reach, the longest-running Kapamilya program FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano remains top-rated. It earned a 10.4% rating on March 28, 3.3% behind First Lady.
FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano dropped to a 10.1% rating the following day, while First Lady earned 13.2%.
On March 30, the gap was minimized to 2.3% as FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano earned 10.5%.
On March 31, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano improved its rating to 10.8% and even climbed to an 11.2% rating as the week ended.
24 Oras airs at 6:00 pm while FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano airs at 8:00 pm every weekdays.
