At the media conference for Misis Piggy on April 21, seasoned actress Sylvia Sanchez praised her children, Ria and Arjo Atayde’s acting talent.
Sanchez felt proud seeing that her children exceed her expectations of their talent in acting.
So thankful ako doon.
Her daughter, Ria Atayde, got emotion upon hearing her mother’s praise of her acting skills.
“I think kasi as kids you only want to make your parents proud. And it’s nice–wow, gets ninyo naman.”
Atayde also shared how she understood why people commend her mother as a great actress upon working with her in Misis Piggy.
“And I think personally, even with my mom, gets ko na kung bakit sinasabi ng tao na ang galing ng nanay mo, nakatrabaho ko ‘yung mommy mo ang sarap ninya katrabaho.
“Pero for me, I’ve worked with her, never ‘yung ganitong anak ninya ako. ‘Yung nag-eksena na kami, tama si Tita Rubi, sobrang generous ng Mom ko as an actress–not just in terms of food or whatever–in terms of emotions. And I’m so blessed that I got to experience that before she goes on whatever hiatus she wants to go on.”
Aside from her kids, Sanchez also praised the other young talents involved in the digital series.
As for the digital series, Misis Piggy stars Sylvia Sanchez, Ria Atayde, Iana Bernardez, Elijah Canlas, Ricky Davao, Rubi Rubi, and Fino Herrera.
