Director Roman Perez Jr. admitted he was naughty when he was young at the media conference for the Vivamax movie, Putahe on April 25.
Perez recalled his days studying in a Catholic School and a Seminary.
He also recounted his love for classic movies, which led him to idolize legendary Pinoy directors such as Celso Kid, Peque Gallaga, and Tata Esteban.
Viva recently dubbed Perez as a cult director, highlighting how his recent movies gathered a following through the streaming platform Vivamax.
As for his Vivamax movie, Putahe is under the direction of Roman Perez Jr. and stars Ayanna Misola, Janelle Tee, Ronnie Lazaro and Mon Confiado.
Perez detailed how he prepared his cast for their roles in Putahe through workshops and intensive script reading.
The cast includes Viva artists Massimo Scofield, Chad Solano, Nathan Cajucom, and Hershie de Leon. Putahe streams worldwide at Vivamax on May 13.
