Being dubbed the “next heartthrob” has pressured the young artist and Sparkada member Raheel Bhyria, Wednesday, April 20.
In the first media conference of the Kapuso barkada, Bhyria, 20, said it was a challenge for him to live up to his expectations.
“S’yempre andoon po yung pressure. Hindi po mawawala ‘yon. But it’s a good challenge for me. I really like being challenged. So I’m gonna give it my all, I’m gonna show my fighting spirit, and show you what I can do,” he said.
It was also shocking for him to be handpicked by Johnny “Mr. M” Manahan and GMA Network’s executives.
“Honestly, I was really shocked. I wasn’t really expecting to be picked by Mr. M and his team. So words really can’t express how thankful I am,” expressed the young talent.
Bhyria, a Fil-Pakistani, started modeling in his teens. He achieved his admirable physique with the help of his love for sports such as boxing, badminton, and basketball.
Also present at the media conference were his co-members Roxie Smith, Anjay Anson, Vanessa Peña, Jeff Moses, Cheska Fausto, Michael Sager, Kirsten Gonzales, Kim Perez, Caitlyn Stave, Vince Maristela, Dilek Montemayor, Tanya Ramos, Larkin Castor, Lauren King, and Sean Lucas.
Saviour Ramos was unable to attend due to his commitment to the upcoming Kapuso mini-series Raya Sirena.
