Seasoned actors Piolo Pascual and Edu Manzano shared their reaction to the satirical tweet of Gwapos for Leni.
On April 18, Gwapos for Leni published a satirical announcement. The group has decided to stop campaigning for Presidential aspirant Leni Robredo since Piolo Pascual has already overshadowed them.

“Muntik na po kaming mag-presscon. Kasi simula nang lumabas ‘yang si Piolo Pascual for Leni Robredo nasapawan na kami. Mas maraming kinilig at tumili para sa kaniya,” the artcard stated.
“Pero bago namin bayaran ang downpayment sa Manila Pen, napaisip kami, baka mabawasan ang fan base namin pag ipilit pa namin ang aordinaryo naming kagwapuhan sa mala-anghel niyang kaguwapuhan.”
Gwapos for Leni said they canceled their supposed press con at Manila Pen because they could not keep up with Pascual’s appeal.
“Kaya hindi namin itinuloy ang presscon dahil tinanggap namin na hindi kami si Piolo Pascual. Na kami’y mga ordinaryong guwapo lang at dapat matuwa na kami sa mga fans namin sa aming barangay, sitio, purok, at subdivision.
“Masaya na kami doon at tanggap namin ito. Mas gwapo samin si Piolo Pascual.”
“BTW, hindi ito tungkol kay Piolo Pascual ha?! Gusto lang namin tapusin ang kampanya. Bitterly yours, Mga Gwapo For Leni.”
Pascual laughed at this tweet and shared it on his twitter account.

Manzano, who is one of the celebrity supporters of Robredo, also shared this tweet on his feed.
Netizens believe that this satire post wishes to throw shade against the presscon held by Presidential and Vice Presidentials candidates Manila City Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso, Senador Panfilo Lacson, former Defense Secretary Norberto Gonzales, Doc Willie Ong, and Senate President Tito Sotto III, on April 17 at The Peninsula Manila Hotel o Manila Pen.
In the said presscon, they assured they will not be withdrawing from their Presidential bid and appealed for Robredo to quit instead.
Pascual and Manzano also reacted to a video clip showing Robredo’s candid reaction when she knew that Pascual is watching her live video on facebook.
Robredo admitted that she is a fan of Pascual so, she was overjoyed when the actor declared his support for her.

Manzano also shared the video and in an apparent joke, he begged Vice President Leni Robredo to like him as well.

Pascual surprised netizens and fans when he shared a video clip on April 11, just a few days after making his first appearance in a presidential campaign of Robredo in Zamboanga.
The Kapamilya star formally backed Vice President Leni Robredo as his presidential candidate in the video.
