Husband and wife tandem Jim Bacarro and Saab Magalona mocked Toni Gonzaga in an episode of their podcast.
In their program Wake Up With Jim & Saab on Spotify, aired on March 30, the couple discussed Toni G’s participation in the campaign of presidential candidate Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr.
In one part of the podcast, the two touched on paid campaign endorsements as a topic.
Toni got tapped as the regular host of UniTeam’s campaign sorties. Speculations of her fee of 120 million pesos to endorse the whole slate of UniTeam.

According to Bacarro, there’s a big difference between selling your integrity because of life and death situations versus you’re selling it just to have something to do.
“I get what you mean, I super agree, there’s a different level of ‘I am going to sell my integrity, my ideals because my child has to eat a piece of bread, ‘di ba, versus, ‘Naku, wala tayong raket… have to go back to my daily job, that’s very different.”
Magalona then countered saying she doesn’t think Toni will do that for money.
“Toni G… I don’t think she’s doing it for the money. I don’t think so… how much money… how much more money do you need.”
But her husband shared how he met Gonzaga during her early days in showbiz. He said it was during Wazzup Wazzup days that he knew the TV host-turned-vlogger and even described her as a ‘bitch.’
“That you will be surprised! Do you think we say the same thing to Chavit Singson, to Manny Pacquiao, to all these dudes… once you get into that system… Literally na-meet ko ‘yan even if she was not famous, nasa Wazzup Wazzup pa lang siya, she was a…. biiiiitch…”
He also added that Toni ever since wanted to become famous and rich.
“She was like, ‘Paano ako sisikat’. Seriously, the pandesal in her throat has always been there, because she wants to be famous, she wants money…”
Saab was seemingly shocked by her husband’s revelation.
She said she hoped it was wrong and not accurate but seeing Toni’s current actions made it difficult for her to understand.
“I don’t know that. I don’t know if that’s accurate, I wish it was not, wish we were wrong, but all your actions Toni G point to this, actually, so I don’t understand, I mean… hindi ko gets, hindi ko gets,” Saab expressed her thoughts.
