Neil Arce defended Vice President Leni Robredo from bashers who criticized her birthday greeting to Kim Chiu.
On April 19, Kim Chiu celebrated her 32nd birthday. VP Robredo greeted her by saying, “Kim, Happy, Happy Birthday. Magkasunod pala birthday natin. But I want to wish you a very happy birthday. Ah, I know you’re in a good place now, follower mo ako sa YouTube channel mo.”
The Vice President then received criticisms online as netizens made fun of her statement–“I know you’re in a good place now.”
They said that the statement is usually used to refer to a person who has already passed on.
On twitter, Neil Arce defended the vice president as he mentioned that Leni’s bashers are idiots.
Tawa ko ng tawa sa ang ibig Sabihin daw ng in a good place Patay na. It just shows how these “political experts” are idiots.

He then explained that the statement simply meant that the person is being in a good disposition in life.

Neil Arce, like his wife Angel Locsin, is a vocal supporter of the presidential bid of Leni Robredo.
