LITZ, the young all-girl sing-and-dance music group launched their new music video with a cinema premiere, Friday, April 1, 2022. The premier, held at Fisher Malls’ cinemas was preceded by a red-carpet attended by pop music acts and movie personalities.
The Juans, WAYBETTR music artist DENY, ALAMAT, Amiel Sol, new Pinoy pop group BOIZ, P-pop boyband New Style, OC Records artists Chelsea, Ronquillo, Pappel, Fitz Shioda, Starirays, Ppop Gen’s Jastine Lim and actors Andrea Babierra, Wilbert Ross, Ataska and Andrea Magadia attended the premier in support of LITZ. Also in attendance are GForce’s trainors and mentors Jelai and Jaja and GForce scholars and Teacher Georcelle. Singer and host Jeankiley Manguera presided over the event.
Of course, for the multitude of fans that came, their main attention was for LITZ and its members Bianca Santos, Yumi Garcia, Fatima Añonuevo, Ashtine Olviga and Heart Ryan Evangelista. And they did not disappoint their ‘GLITZ’ fandom as they spent a portion of the premiere interacting with their supporters.
“Kidlat” was released recently on streaming platforms. The track, written by Marion Aunor and arranged by Cool Cat Ash of Aunorable Productions, is the first original song by LITZ who released a cover of the James Reid-hit “Natataranta” back in November 2021.
LITZ considers “Kidlat” as their debut single and the music video, the group’s first for an original song. The video is directed by LITZ mentor and creative head, Georcelle Dapat-Sy.
Likewise, Teacher Georcelle, considers “Kidlat” to be the group’s official debut.
“This is just the beginning,” Teacher Georcelle said, “We have a lot of plans for the future. I’m excited for the collaboration. (And the girls of) LITZ are too. They’re always excited for everything. These girls are all smiles, that’s why the name is LITZ, it (means) ‘life in the sunshine.’”
Teacher Georcelle also mentioned that the same excitement and energy permeated in the making of the music video. After the music video was shown first on the big screen, LITZ and G-Force took to the stage for a live performance of “Kidlat.”
The music video subsequently premiered at the LITZ official YouTube channel last night. “Kidlat” is released by Viva Records and can be streamed on all music platforms.
