On Thursday, April 7, GMA Regional TV and Synergy First Vice President and Head Oliver Victor Amoroso loved that Julie Anne San Jose’s Limitless, A Musical Trilogy was patronized by concert-goers amid the pandemic.
In the virtual media conference of Limitless: Rise the last installment of the concert, Amoroso admitted he had doubts that the event would get much of a sale because of Covid-19.
“Actually noong una, siyempre medyo may kwan kami—na for me, as a producer, parang inisip namin, ‘Mag-work pa rin ba ang online ticketed event lalo na ngayon at nagta-transition na tayo sa new normal?'”
Apparently, he has nothing to worry about. The Kapuso executive revealed that there was still demand for VIP tickets for the last leg of the concert.
“We just announced a few hours ago, that our VIP category has been sold out. Kaya we are very thankful for those na bumili ng tickets.
“May mga request… actually while we’re doing this, I’m reading my emails. There are already requests to open it again, to add slots for the VIP category,” he shared.
Amoroso added, “So nag-uusap na yung team if we can still accommodate.”
San Jose, the star of the three-part concert, revealed how she prepared for Breathe, Heal, and Rise.
“Like different siguro in a good way. Kasi ang tagal din..ang tagal din po na hindi ako nag-concert or ang tagal ko na hindi nagkaroon ng live audience. Because for the past two years, we have been doing live shows na walang audience like sa (All-Out Sundays) AOS. Lagi lang kami sa studio.
“S’yempre iba pa rin po talaga kapag ka may live audience. Mas may thrill, mas exciting.
“When it comes to preparations naman, siyempre iba kasi talaga kapag live events, tapos nandoon yun—mas exciting siya. As compared to when you do shows na wala kang nakikitang people in front of you, like people just watch you online. Iba pa rin po talaga ang feeling. Kaya it’s more exciting po talaga kapag may face-to-face,” explained the singer.
