Kim Chiu clapped back at the basher who made fun of VP Leni Robredo’s birthday greeting for her, asking the latter to stop being negative.
On April 19, Chiu celebrated her 32nd birthday. Robredo extended her birthday wishes to Chiu via a video greeting.
“Kim, happy, happy birthday. Magkasunod pala birthday natin. But I want to wish you a very happy birthday. I know you’re in a good place now,” Robredo said.
On April 21, a twitter user mocked Robredo’s birthday greeting for Chiu.
“OMG kinilabutan ako pagbati ni madam VP kay Kim Chiu. Akala ko talaga RIP na. Sorry #KimChiu had to play the video nang paulit-ulit,” the caption said.

“Huwag ka nga! Di naman ikaw yung binati, eh. Ako di ba? Ako yung nag-birthday. Nakikinood ka na nga lang ganyan ka pa.”
Chiu quoted the basher’s comment, saying Robredo’s message was for her and not the latter.
“Ako kasi naintindihan ko, para sakin naman yung message. Ikaw ba, nabati ka na ng taong tinitingala mo sa birthday mo? Bawas nega[tivity] para angat buhay lahat. Smile,” she added.
Chiu asked the basher to stop being negative.

Director Antoinette Jadaone replied and said that the remark was wrong and copied from someone else’s comment.
