Queen of Soul Jaya expressed her support for the tandem of presidential aspirant VP Leni Robredo and vice-presidential aspirant Senator Kiko Pangilinan despite being out of the country.
On April 25, Jaya voiced her full trust for the two via a tweet.
To show her support for the Robredo-Pangilinan tandem, Jaya posted a photo of herself wearing a pink dress.

“Nais ko lang pong iparating ang aking suporta sa inyo Ma’am @lenirobredo & Sir @kikopangilinan wala man ako dyan ay buo ang aking tiwala sa inyo.”
Jaya shared that she wanted to send her support despite being outside of the country.
“Mabuhay po kayo at lahat ng mamamayang sumusuporta sa inyo,” she added.
On February 19, Jaya announced she was supporting the Robredo-Pangilinan tandem.
“I’m aware of what’s going on dyan sa Pinas at sa mga nagtatanong po #LetLeniLead.
“And I’m praying na sana ay maging kalma at maayos ang ating eleksyon. Let’s extend our love, respect and understanding to everyone and all the candidates. Basta bumoto! #LetLeniLead,” she said.
Jaya is currently residing in the United States with her family.
