Former Kapuso star Iwa Moto lightly admonished Kapamilya actress Jodi Sta Maria following her endorsement of Vice President Leni Roredo for President and Sen. Kiko Pangilinan for Vice President.
In an Instagram story posted on April 25, Iwa answered a netizen asking for her reaction to Jodi’s endorsement of the Leni-Kiko Tandem.

According to Iwa, she was not surprised because Jodi said to her that she’s still undecided when they talked.
“Hmmm. not that surprised..coz we talked about it before. She said she’s still undecided that time.”
Iwa also added that she respects Jodi’s decision because they are still family and will continue to love and respect each other after all.
“Of course I will respect her decision. Kahit naman iba iboto nya di naman mababago na pamilya kami. At mahal namin at nirerespeto ang isa’t-isa. Syempre may sarili kaming utak at iba iba kami ng opinyon.”
However, the former Kapuso star lightly chastised Jodi, saying she shouldn’t have publicized her choice since their father-in-law is also a candidate.
“Was just hoping na [hindi] na lang sya nag announce. hihi. Syempre father-in-law namin yung kalaban ng candidate. lol bwahahahaa.”
Sen. Ping Lacson, another presidential aspirant, is Jodi’s father-in-law with her marriage to Panfilo “Pampy” Lacson Jr. Although separated, Jodi and Pampy’s marriage has yet to be annulled following the decision of the Court of Appeals dismissing the decision of the lower court.
Iwa, meanwhile, has been the current partner of Pampy since 2013.
Jodi publicly announced her support for the Leni-Kiko tandem on Saturday, April 23, when she tweeted, “Papunta palang tayo sa exciting part (smile emojis with pink flower emojis).”
