EPSON Philippines General Manager Ed Bonoan confirmed on March 25, their long-haul partnership with World Wildlife Fund for Nature to promote sustainability.
During EPSON’s media session presenting their technology lineup, Bonoan highlighted the company’s core values of promoting sustainability and how it coincides with WWF’s goal.
“So I think the WWF, as I mentioned a while ago, the conservation and sustainability portion of it is something within the DNA of EPSON. So there is a big stake for EPSON to be in partnership with WWF in the long term.
“WWF in fact, is one of the trusted partners of EPSON, and we do have partnerships with other conservation foundations as well. So yes, I think we are in this for the longer haul.”
WWF Environmental Education Project Officer Jonna Jacinto expressed their organization’s appreciation of Bonoan’s statement.
“We in WWF are very, very much happy to accept that and willing to assist and help in promoting your sustainability efforts and practices.”
Senior Regional Manager for Business Inkjet Division Jester Cruz echoed Bonoan’s statement regarding their partnership with WWF.
“Sustainability for us is really a way of life. It’s not just a marketing communication, but this [embodies] everything that EPSON believes in.”
EPSON renewed its commitment to sustainability by highlighting its products that improve business effectiveness and lessen users’ carbon footprint.
The company also emphasized its efforts to adapt amid the pandemic through EPSON’s push for products ideal for the work-from-home setup, such as inkjet printers.
