OPM singer Ely Buendia is not backing out in slamming bashers who want to silence him about socio-political issues.
In his April 2 tweet, Buendia claps back at his bashers, who advised him to concentrate on his music because he does not know politics.
In response he shared their latest song K.U.P.A.L. and tweeted “Sige na guys, peace na tayo. Respect my opinion na lang. Tama kayo wala akong alam, dapat kumanta na lang ako. This one’s for you:)”

His clap back was in response to bashers who mobbed him online following his tweet about the controversial estate tax issue.
“When the BIR can’t even do anything about certain individuals who owe us tons of money, isn’t that the very definition of elitism? Fight me.”

While Ely did not drop any names in his tweet, BBM supporters were all out in lambasting the OPM singer while defending their candidate.
“Andaming nagdi-defend sa mayayaman pero tahimik pag yung mahihirap ang kinukulong, pinapatay na walang laban at due process. #pakyukayoenablers #letLeniandKikoLead”

Ely is a certified Kakampink.
He joined the people’s rally for VP Leni and Sen. Kiko in Iloilo in February and rocked the crowd with Eraserheads classics Alapaap, Ligaya, and Pare Ko.
Before officially joining the campaign of VP Leni and Sen. Kiko, Ely already showed leaning toward VP Leni Robredo.
He went viral on social media after teasing EHeads fans for a possible reunion if VP Leni would run as President.
