Kapuso Chef and food explorer JR Royol welcomes actor and athlete Matteo Guidicelli as his special guest on GTV’s weekly cooking show “Farm To Table” this Sunday, April 24.
Chef JR goes out on a culinary trip with Matteo on the trails of Pestano Farm in Antipolo, Rizal, to cook delectable dishes and experience various activities while sharing funny and inspiring stories.
The two kick off their day by brewing locally produced Cacao Tea using organic eggs and some habanero and padron peppers fresh from the farm. They will also prepare steak and eggs for breakfast.
Afterwards, they will have a short visit to the Lagoon Area where they get to catch fresh Pangasius that they will use in preparing Fish in Lemon Butter Sauce with Thai Mango Salad.
Chef JR will be using some of the farm’s fresh herb produce in preparing the Lemon and Lime Marmalade served with Herb bread baked in a makeshift oven.
Meanwhile, Matteo will show off his cooking skills by preparing his personal Spaghetti Aglio e Olio.
While bonding over food, the duo talk about their common interests, their mutual love for food, family life, and Matteo’s growing interest in farm life.
