Several celebrities including showbiz friends of Manila Mayor and Presidential candidate Isko Domagoso have reacted to his recent meltdown.
In a media interview on Wednesday, April 20, Mayor Isko continued his diatribe against the camp of Vice President Leni Robredo, challenging the latter to deny all his accusations regarding talks on the withdrawal of candidacy.
Yorme (he’s better known for) also scored VP Leni’s spokesperson Atty. Barry Gutierrez by saying he should stop speaking for the Vice President and let her speak for herself.
“Barry tabi ka na sa gedli (gilid). Pasalitain mo amo mo. O baka hindi niya mabasa, kailangan niya teleprompter.”
The Manila Mayor has attracted criticisms following his continued tirade against the Vice President.
In his tweet, former TV host and actor Chuckie Dreyfus wondered what has happened to Domagoso who seemed to be self-destructing following his televised meltdown.
“Implosion. Self destruction. Meltdown. You name it. Anyare, bro? Why so gigil? Hay.”

Theatre actor Red Atadero also commented that Domagoso’s campaign might be dying–that’s why he’s hell bent on destroying the campaign of the Vice President.
He also questioned his penchant against the Vice President when Marcos Jr is the perceived frontrunner.
“Isko’s campaign must be dying inside. Magsawa na raw sa Marcos at Aquino. Iba naman daw. So ano’ng ginagawa niya? Picking a fight with Robredo (na puppet daw ng Aquino) while there’s LITERALLY A FERDINAND MARCOS JUNIOR RUNNING AGAINST HIM.”

Meanwhile, Journalist Barnaby Lo said Isko is taking his issue against the Vice President’s camp way too far already.
“Ummm… isn’t the mayor taking this way too far already?”

While @znsuzara likened Domagoso to a troll paid to attack the Vice President.
“Isko Moreno is acting like a troll”

@heartyphblog schooled Domagoso regarding Atty. Barry Gutirrez’s role as the Vice President’s spokesman.
“That’s practically Atty. Barry’s job, he’s VP Leni’s spokesperson. Wala na bang common sense tong si Isko? And how Bastos is this Isko? Yeww.”

Meanwhile, prior to his most recent meltdown, Domagoso’s friend and former That’s Entertainment batchmate Romnick Sarmenta also took to twitter to share his sentiment.
In his tweet, Romnick advised Yorme to think through what he has been doing. He also added that it’s not too late to reconsider all his recent actions.
“Kaibigan ang turing ko sa iyo. Ikinampanya kita noon, sa mas mababang posisyon dahil naniniwala ako sa mga pinaninindigan mo dati. Pwede kang magalit o magtampo sa akin. Pero ang mga sinabi ko kelan lang ay dala ng malasakit at di galit. Sana’y mag-isip ka. Di pa huli.”

Sarmenta’s comment was in reaction to Isko’s call for President Leni Robredo to withdraw from the race during their Easter Sunday (April 17) presser at the Manila Peninsula Hotel in Makati.
