On March 21 and April 1, seasoned actors Bembol Rocco and Nonie Buencamino endorsed Vice President Leni Robredo for the presidency while citing historical women leaders.
On Men for Leni’s facebook page, Roco and Buencamino endorsement videos were posted.
Roco cited the historical Filipina leaders that shaped the country and how VP Robredo has the same qualities as them.
“Ngayon, mayroon tayong Leni Robredo.
“Basta may problema, doon susuong, dala-dala’y solusyon. Walang inuurungan, debate o panayam.
“Tapang ‘yan pa.”
Ang galing!

Buencamino listed the international women leaders and what they have in common with VP Robredo.
He also pointed out that femininity doesn’t translate to weakness as a leader.
