Kapamilya actress and It’s ShowtimeShowtime host Anne Curtis, trended online on April 12, after she expressed her support for the candidacy of Vice President Leni Robredo as President.
On an Instagram post with an attached photo of a rose, Curtis likened VP Robredo to a rose that needs to be protected.

My mum planted this rose in her garden & how apt it is for this time… dahil ang pangarap ko sa ating bansa ay magkaroon ng ilaw sa ating tahanan na tinatawag nating Pilipinas na gagabay, ipaglalaban, proprotektahan at mamahalin ito… mamahalin tayo…Kaya para sa akin, #KulayRosasAngBukas #LetLeniLead #LuvAnneLeni (A mother’s love. Curtis sought first the opinion of her friend before making the post. It was revealed (via a screenshot photo), shared by screenwriter G3 San Diego.

Her fellow Kapamilya actress and VP Robredo supporter, Angel Locsin, expressed delight for Curtis’s official endorsement of Robredo, by reposting it on her Instagram stories.
Netizens also expressed their awe at how quickly big time celebrity endorsers are surfacing for Robredo, lately.
