MNL48 made noise on social media, on Friday, April 1, not only because of their latest single but also after their old clip showing MNL Nice describing presidential aspirant Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
The girl group launched their comeback single No Way Man, and at the same time, a video of them playing charades in 2018 resurfaced.
It was a webisode of MNLaugh, with MNL Nice attempting to have her team guess that she was referring to the young Marcos, who at the time ran for vice president but lost.
She then took a box and made it appear as if she was “stealing.”
The video, which is now viral, became a source of amusement for netizens.

In 2016, Marcos Jr was alleged to be corrupt. A group calling themselves iBalik ang Bilyones ng Mamamayan (iBBM) sought the help of the Ombudsman to investigate the then-senator for his probable involvement in a P205-million pork barrel scam orchestrated by Janet Lim-Napoles.
They believed that the admittance of Marcos Jr in the usage of a Napoles NGO proves his involvement in the corruption.
“These special allotment release orders (SAROs) constitute part of the (Benhur) Luy files, which saw that Marcos Jr. himself was directly involved in stealing the people’s money,” claimed iBBM spokesperson Rafaela David.
“Marcos himself admitted that he instructed the LGU (local government unit) to use a Napoles NGO. Why would Bongbong Marcos give special instructions to deal with the Social Development Program for Farmers Foundation Inc. (SDPFFI) when they had no known address, projects or reputation to speak of,” added Marlon Cornelio, also of iBBM.
Cornelio even argued that the only son of Marcos Sr inherited the evil trait of his parents.
“Marcos’ implication in the Napoles scam clearly demonstrates that Marcos is not detached from his parents’ legacy of corruption and plunder. Marcos was an accomplice in his family’s crimes during the martial law years.”
