On March 31, ‘1st.One’ Alpha revealed details about his Manoeuvres heritage.
During the media conference for ‘1st.One’s contract signing with Warner Music Philippines, Alpha or Jonas Cyrone Cruz admitted he’s a second-generation Manoeuvres.
He then recalled how he joined ‘1st.One’ after being in a boy dance group.
“Actually, Ako si J, Max, and Joker magkasama po kami sa isang dance group and we’ve been competing to other countries din po and other dance competition dito sa Philippines.
He also shared how the group communicates with each other during their rehearsals.
He then recalled the struggles they faced amid the pandemic and how the group overcame them by supporting each other.
Nagtutulungan talaga kami. Hindi kami nag-iiwanan, hindi kami naghahatakan pababa. Talagang nagtutulungan kami. Syempre through prayers talaga kasi naagapan namin lahat ng struggles namin.”
‘1st.One‘ launched as a PPop group in 2020 with its core members Alpha, J, ACE, Max, Jason, and Joker.
However, they encountered difficulties amid the pandemic. Now, the boy group signed with the music label Warner Music Philippines, cementing their place in the music industry.
