Stars of the upcoming Vivamax movie X-Deal 2, Angela Morena and Rob Guinto, admitted on Wednesday, March 9, that they do not have any problems entering a relationship with other women.
During the movie’s virtual media conference, Guinto started by saying, “Para sa akin ‘di mo naman kailangang tignan, or wala namang—it doesn’t matter kung babae ba ‘yan or lalaki. Ano ‘yan eh, kung ano yung nararamdaman mo, bakit hindi.”
Morena added, “Siguro kung mahal ko, I’m willing to commit, ‘yon. ‘Pag mahal mo talaga, haha. ‘Pag mahal, sure why not.”
They also shared their opinion on society’s level of acceptance in terms of lesbian relationships. Both have different takes on the issue.
Morena wanted to respect everyone’s belief saying that she is in no position to “dictate.”
“Siguro ako, it’s okay. Kasi hindi naman natin hawak yung utak ng bawat tao. They have their own opinion, they have their own perspective, and they have their own comment.”
But Guinto insisted that everybody, including lesbians, should be given the freedom to choose who to love without fear of being judged.
“As long naman na wala kang ginagawa at hindi mo sila sinasaktan or something, bakit hindi nila hayaang magmahalan ang lahat ‘di ba?”
In X-Deal 2, both sexy stars whose relatively new in the industry will have an intimate scene with each other. However, they pointed out how professional they are as artists.
Morena explained, “Kasi isa sa mga natutunan ko talaga na kapag in character ka, you have to be in character. Kasi kapag ikaw nadala ka, natamaan ka, ikaw yung talo.”
Guinto seconded stating, “Hindi ka artista kapag once na na-attached ka sa isang eksena.”
The movie also stars newcomer Josef Elizalde and is helmed by filmmaker Law Fajardo who also directed X-Deal 1.
It tells the story of a couple staying on an island, Emily (Guinto) and Peter (Elizalde), who offered a sex swap with fellow guest Olivia (Morena), a lesbian. However, what starts as a mutually-beneficial deal turns rough and tumbles when Peter demands more than he bargained for.
Stream X-Deal 2 on Vivamax is coming this March 25.
