Are Kapamilya stars Anne Curtis and Kim Chiu bound to join the #Kakampinks?
Recently, Curtis and Chiu implicitly showed support for Presidential aspirant Leni Robredo.
On February 24, Robredo and her team conducted a campaign rally in Cebu. Robredo expressed her gratitude to the Cebuanos as she traced back the number of votes she earned from the province.
“Noong kumandidato ako ng 2016, bagong salta ako pero pinanalo ko dito almost 500,000 votes. Kaya kung hindi po ako tinulungan ng Cebu ng ganon kalaki, hindi po sana ako Vice President ngayon.”
Robredo is optimistic that she will receive the same support she got way back in 2016 from them.
On the same day of the rally, Chiu tweeted ‘Cebu’ with a pink heart. For the 2022 elections, pink is the political color of Robredo.

With this, netizens assume that Chiu has switched sides from being a Duterte supporter–she supports the opposition.
In 2016, Chiu shared that her president is a ‘Bisaya.’ Based on the profile of the presidents that year, only Duterte fits the description since Miriam Santiago and Grace Poe were Ilonggos, while Jejomar Binay and Mar Roxas were Manilenios.
In the case of Curtis, it is unusual for her to share political content as she always keeps herself neutral.
However, recently, she shared a drone shot taken in Iloilo, showing the vast crowd of Robredo supporters in the said province.

Curtis captioned, ‘Wow’ with a pink rose in the middle of the word. “Kulay rosas ang kulay ng bukas” is the campaign tagline of the Kakampinks.
Robredo is currently serving as the Vice President of the Philippines. Her OVP received the highest audit rating from Commission on Audit for three consecutive years.
On May 9, the Filipino voters will elect the new President of the country who will serve the Philippines for the next six years.
