On March 23, Kapamilya host Vhong Navarro detailed his observations with the rise of ABS-CBN after shutdown.
During the Showtime Kapamilya Contract Signing event, Navarro recalled his experiences following the ABS-CBN Shutdown in 2020 and how he remained resilient throughout the ordeal.
He then attested how the Network continued to be loyal to its talents and employees despite losing its franchise, citing that ABS-CBN is gradually returning.
Dahil talagang mahal nila kami. At ito ang totoong Kapamilya.”
Navarro also confessed he was feeling nervous during the contract signing event.
He then noted how the Network always looked out for him as one of their talents.
“Kasi hindi nila ako pinabayaan. Marami tayo pinagdaanan.
Navarro has been with ABS-CBN since 1992 when he first appeared in Home Along Da Riles. He was part of the all-boys dance group, Streetboys. He then became a comedic actor starring in movies such as D’Anothers, Mr. Suave, and Agent X44.
He also became one of the mainstay hosts of ‘It’s Showtime’ during its first airing date.
Recently, he signed his contract with ABS-CBN alongside Ogie Alcasid and JC De Vera.
