Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez were married for about three months only after rumors about their breakup spread online.
Several reasons for their breakup were raised, but recently, people said that it is because of Rodriguez’s political ambition.
According to Bandera, Abellana does not approve of her husband’s plans to go into politics.
To recall, Rodriguez filed his certificate of candidacies (COCs) on October 8, 2021.
The actor was the first nominee for the AMP (Anak Maharlikang Pilipino) party-list— a group that advocates for the rights of construction workers.
However, the actor failed to get into the finals list of Commission On Elections.
Abellana and Rodriguez first worked in the GMA Network series, My Husband’s Lover in 2013. They also worked together in the movie, ‘So It’s You!,’ in 2014.
On October 23, 2021, they tied the knot in San Juan Nepomuceno Parish Church in Batangas. However, in January 2022, rumors about their breakup surfaced after netizens noticed that the two unfollowed each other on Instagram.
Abellana also liked several Instagram posts of netizens that talk about cheating and infidelity.
