Kit Thompson is currently under the custody of Tagaytay police station for allegedly hurting his girlfriend on Friday, March 18.
Initial police reports said that the victim called 911 at 6:30 a.m from Barangay Silang Crossing East, Tagaytay City. She said that she got allegedly mauled earlier that morning.
The police added that the couple had a misunderstanding which allegedly prompted Thompson to hurt his girlfriend.
The victim is now treating her wounds in a medical facility.
The victim also sought help from her friends by sending a picture of herself with a visible black eye and injuries.
Hotel staff also tried to call the police after noticing the commotion in the couple’s room. But they refused to add any details about the incident.
Cornerstone Entertainment, Thompson’s talent management, issued its official statement that read:
“The Cornerstone Management does not condone any act of violence and profoundly value the dignity of women. We take this opportunity to clarify that our earlier statement that was issued with no knowledge of any specific details as we were in receipt only of general allegations. Neither were we privy to any photos of the incident.
“In this delicate situation, we subscribe to the sound discretion of law enforcement and allow the wheels of justice to take its course.”

Following this incident, Thompson’s upcoming projects are affected. He is lined up for three upcoming films.
He was part of Moonlight Butterfly directed by Joel Lamangan. He’s one of the leading men of Christine Bermas in the film apart from Albie Casiño and Ivan Carapiet.
He was also part of an online show for a brand supposedly to premiere next week.
