No contestants on the TV5 singing competition Sing Galing! were being taken advantage of, as affirmed by the show’s judge, Rey Valera, on Thursday, March 3.
In the Grand Kantatawanan conference held at Metropolitan Theater, he said, “Kasi narinig ko phase 2, ibig sabihin hindi text; ibig sabihin walang bayad, ibig sabihin na lumalabas no’n hindi namin sila pinagkakakitaan.”
Moreover, Valera pointed out that each and every contestant was already part of the Sing Galing! family.
He added that one of the show’s goals is to provide relief amid the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
Valera also considered the contenders as if they were his children.
He also advised them to consider it a huge opportunity for their respective careers, given that they were competing in an era of social media and technology.
The Ultimate Pa-Sing-Katan and Kantastic Finale will air on TV5 at 6 pm on March 5th and 12th. It will also be live-streamed simultaneously on Sing Galing’s Facebook as well as the TV5 Facebook page and Youtube channel.
