On February 23, Kapamilya actor Sam Milby talked about the value of ABS-CBN when it comes to providing quality content.
During the Kapamilya Strong 2022 media conference, Milby expressed his gratitude for being part of ABS-CBN because the network valued content.
“One word pagdating sa ABS-CBN is content. We give out the best content, and ABS-CBN, we look out for our best interest. And ako sobrang grateful ako, paglabas ng PBB house, 16 years ago, my 16 years of business has been fruitful. I will be forever grateful for ABS-CBN. And as long as ABS-CBN needs me nandito lang ako.”
Milby also recalled the high points of his career with ABS-CBN, such as Pinoy Big Brother and Maging Sino Ka Man.
“Pinoy Big Brother, doon ako nag-start, doon nag-start ang lahat, lahat, pati ‘yung first teleserye ko, Maging Sino Ka Man. ‘Yung movie namin ni Direk Lauren.”
He then shared his advice to aspiring actors to pursue a career in showbiz not because of fame but because of their passion for acting.
“Sa mga gustong mag-artista, ang importante tama ‘yung placement ng passion niyo hindi dahil gusto niyo sumikat, I think its the passion sa acting. Because if gusto niyo lang sumikat, mali ‘yung placement–‘yung purpose of why you want to become an actor is wrong. I think it’s should be ‘yung passion sa acting.”
Sam Milby began his career in showbiz after exiting the Pinoy Big Brother house in 2006. From then on, he started in Kapamilya productions such as Maging Sino Ka Man, Diyosa, Halik, and Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin.
As for the Kapamilya Strong event, stars and talents such as Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, Gary Valenciano, Zanjoe Marudo, Erich Gonzales, Jake Cuenca, Jolina Magdangal, Loisa Andalio, Ronnie Alonte, Sam Milby, Shaina Magdayao, and Gerald Anderson renewed their commitment with ABS-CBN through signing new contracts with Star Magic on Wednesday (February 23).
