Rica Peralejo slammed bashers, who claimed that having free concerts made the people go to Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Kiko Pangilinan’s campaign rallies.
On March 20, Peralejo posted a photo with other ABS-CBN stars Jolina Magdangal and Nikki Valdez.
“Ang rally ni Mam talaga ay parang isang malaking reunion. Hindi ito magulo, marahas, o mapanira. Mapagmahal lang talaga at radikal. Ang saya talaga ng feeling pag andun ka, parang isa kasing malaking party!”
Peralejo answered those who claimed that people who went to the rallies just went to see celebrities and not the candidates.
“May nagsasabing concert lang naman talaga ipinupunta ng tao sa rally at kung totoo man yun EH ANO NGAYON? Eh kaya nga nangangampanya para makakumbinsi ng di pa desido. Maigi ng makahikayat ng marami pang taong hindi nakakakilala kay Leni-Kiko. Sa huli, if ito ang rason ng pumunta, panalo parin kami!
Peralejo stressed that people who went to the rallies eagerly waited for Robredo and not for celebrities.
“Ngunit pag nakita nyo ang mga rally makikita niyo talagang si Ma’am ang inaabangan ng karamihan. Iba din talaga siya bilang inspirasyon. She inspires action kasi. She makes you want to come out of your comfort zone.
“She is the true movement — a diverse set of people groups coming together to support her cause. 🌺 So, #LetLeniLead2022 #thelastmanstandingisawoman,” she added.

On March 17, Peralejo joined Robredo-Pangilinan’s proclamation rally on Cesar C. Climaco Freedom Park, Zamboanga City.
The estimated crowd for the said event has reached more than 35k attendees.
