Kris Aquino urged her followers not to use the red heart emoji.
People claimed that her statement is connected with the political color of the presidential candidate Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr.
In her Instagram post on March 4, Kris gave an update on her medical condition. She then asked the people to pray for her speedy recovery.
“Although wala po akong cancer markers in my blood tests, meron syang mga gusto pang ma rule out before we leave in less than 2 weeks. Hindi po ako takot sa tests, i prefer to know para kung maaagapan or may treatments, procedures, or solutions – magawa na soonest na walang delay.
“Makulit ako, please also pray for my sisters who worry so much for the “baby” of the family (bunso po kasi), my sons, my trusted friends & my TEAM na talagang walang iwanan,” she said.

Netizens then expressed their well-wishes in the comment section.
One netizen said that he would always pray for Kris’s health. He also thanked Aquino for giving updates regarding her health. The netizen added three red heart emojis at the end of his message.
“We continue to pray for your healing and recovery the soonest! Thank you for keeping us updated on your health!” said the netizen.
Kris Aquino then asked the netizen to use a yellow or a pink heart with a yellow ribbon emoji rather than red heart emojis.
“Request can you use yellow hearts [yellow heart emoji] Or [pink heart with yellow ribbon emoji].
“I’m sure gets nyo na why wag muna red,” said Kris.
Netizens then assumed that she is asking her fans not to support Bongbong Marcos as his political color is red.
Previously, Aquino lauded presidential aspirant Leni Robredo after attending the presidential forum on February 4 despite a conflict of schedule.
