Former singer-actress Nikki Gil expressed her love for the LGBTQIA+ for Leni’s version of her iconic beverage commercial from 2005 through a facebook comment on February 28.
The said version of Gil’s 2005 Coca-Cola commercial shows a transwoman walking through a market, emulating Gil’s motions in giving out items to each passerby she encounters.
The only difference between the two, Gil was handed out bottles of Coca-Cola, while the transwoman handed out porridge, capitalizing on the term that Robredo’s opponents have created against Vice President Leni Robredo.
