After a basher cursed, threatened her daughters online, Melai Cantiveros is in the process of filing a complaint.
In an Instagram story on Monday, March 28, Cantiveros shared a picture of a complaint sheet from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
The TV host did not show the content of the complaint sheet. Speculations of her taking legal actions against a netizen who threatened her daughters online.
On Saturday, March 26, Cantiveros shared screenshots of a female netizen’s harsh comments on her vlog.
The netizen said, “SARAP KUMAIN NG GALING SA NAKAW… SUMPAIN MGA ANAK MO GAGA…
“BOYCOTT PRODUCTS ENDORSE NI MELAI. ISA ITONG MAGNANAKAW. ISA ITONG PUTA NG LIPUNAN.

In the caption of her post, Cantiveros asked netizens to help her track down the basher. She also sought help from lawyers.
Cantiveros said, “Nananawagan po ako kung nasaan ang taong itu nang masampahan ng nararapat legal na aksyun, Paki PM po ako Maraming Salamat Matigil na ang mga pamg haharass na tu At para sayu na nasa picture na yan PAPAHANAP KITA KAHIT SAAN KA MAN TANDAAN MO YAN.
“Nananawagan dn ako sa mga #LawyersForLeni @lawyersforleni.”
Cantiveros previously showed her support for presidential aspirant and incumbent Vice President Leni Robredo.
This is not the first time when Cantiveros confronted a netizen online for cursing her daughters.
She and her daughters were previously bashed by a supporter of Francine Diaz for she allegedly ‘shipped’ the tandem of Kyle Echarri and Chie Filomeno.
“Epal mo din eh ano. Wag mo i-ship si Kyle kay Chie, anak mo nga ang pangit,” the basher wrote.
“Humanda ka @stan.francine.chin papahanap ko sa NBI (National Bureau of Investigation) ang account mo, mahahanap kita at dedemanda kita sa sinabi mo sa anak ko,” Cantiveros said in an Instagram post.
